About us

Who Are We?

We are Mark & Jodi Bush and, until Summer 2025, called Colorado Springs, CO home. Since then, we’ve been traveling full-time in our 2025 Brinkley Z3400 fifth wheel. Mark is an Air Force veteran and spent the last 30+ years supporting DoD in the IT and Cyber Security field until his recent retirement. Jodi has spent 30+ years as a licensed architect and is also retired.

Why “Red Dog”?

Put simply, we’ve had red dogs, AKA Irish Setters, for the last few years. This started when Jodi was a kid and had an Irish Setter (IS). She’s wanted another IS ever since. She scoured the web and realized just how rare they are in Colorado, but she found an organization located in north Texas. With their help, we rescued Conor, our first IS together Memorial Day weekend of 2010. In November of 2016, we rescued Cayleigh from there as well. Sadly, Conor crossed the rainbow bridge in November of 2019. It seems we are destined to have at least one IS in the family from now on. Cayleigh is 10 and still acts like a puppy, but she does enjoy her naps.

What’s next?

Since attending the National RV Training Academy (NRVTA) in Athens, TX in Spring 2024 and again in Fall of 2025, Mark is a registered RV technician and certified RV inspector. That has changed our service area to wherever we happen to be camping. You can now find us using the Where Are We? link or find one in your area using the RVHelp Inspector Locator.
