We are Mark & Jodi Bush and currently call Colorado Springs, CO home. Mark is an Air Force veteran and has spent the last 30+ years supporting DoD in the IT and Cyber Security field. Jodi has spent 30+ years as a licensed architect. Mark attended the National RV Training Academy (NRVTA) in Athens, TX in Spring 2024 and is a registered RV technician.

Why “Red Dog”?

Put simply, we have red dogs, AKA Irish Setters. This started when Jodi was a kid and had an Irish Setter (IS). She’s wanted another Irish Setter ever since. She scoured the web and realized just how rare they are in Colorado, but she found an organization called Irish Setter Rescue of North Texas located in Ft Worth, TX. With their help, we rescued Conor, our first IS together Memorial Day weekend of 2010. In November of 2016, we rescued Cayleigh from there as well. Sadly, Conor crossed the rainbow bridge in November of 2019. In 2023, we decided Cayleigh needed a brother and made another trip to Ft Worth to bring Flynn home with us. It seems we are destined to have at least one IS in the family from now on.

What’s next?

This July, Mark will retire from federal service and we’re going full-time in the RV. That will change our service area to wherever we happen to be camping.
